Mr. Long completed his Master’s Degree in Development Economics and Economic Policy at Kobe University in 2007. He has been working at BIDV for more than 20 years, taking on different positions both at branches and Head Office’s departments, domestic and overseas, such as So Giao Dich 1 Branch, Financial Institution Department, BIDV Securities JSC, BIDV’s Representative Ofice at Myanmar, Strategic and Planning Department, etc… He was the founder of the FDI Corporate Banking Department of BIDV in 2016 and has been the Head of the Department since then.

 

In the recent times, BIDV has strongly pioneered in implementing solutions related to green credit product development and green bank model. BIDV has become a familiar and reliable partner of many domestic and foreign investors. To combine the resources and strengths of the parties in renewable energy development, BIDV has been cooperating with many international partners, including development banks, commercial banks, large investors from Asia, Europe and North America to design green credit products with sophisticated and appropriate structures, such as co-financing, co-guarantee, combination of guarantee – financing for renewable energy projects, etc.

 

Some successful projects that BIDV has participated in: Lai Chau Hydropower 1,200 MW and Son La Hydropower 2,400 MW; Huong Linh Wind Power (4 projects) with total of 114MW in Quang Tri; Amaccao Wind Power 49.2 MW in Quang Tri, Dam Nai Wind Power 39 MW in Ninh Thuan, HBRE Gia Lai Wind Power 50 MW in Gia Lai; Cat Hiep Solar Power 49.5 MW in Binh Dinh, Xuan Tho Solar Power 1 and 2 49.5 MW (each) in Phu Yen, Sermsang Solar Power 49.5 MW in Quang Ngai; and thousands of rooftop solar power projects, etc.
