Hai has a passion for Security Technology and that played a dominant role in his achievement so far. Ensuring Cybersecurity for Digital Government

ABSTRACT

Due to the digitalization trend in today’s society, along with the efforts of changing the mode of operation to improve public service delivery to be more efficient and effective, the Safety and Security in Digital Government is becoming more and more important.

Developing and increasing the use of online public services or e-Government faces many challenges. With Digital Government, safety, security and resilience to cyber attacks of system (such as: access, modification, denial of service…) are core importances.

The threats to network security (cyber terrorism, cyber espionage, targeted attacks, etc.) are constantly changing while new vulnerabilities are discovered in deployed and newly designed systems.

The requirement is that there should be solutions to combat those threats. The network security solutions which need to be implemented include: firewall and proxy, anti-malware software, ensuring Internet safety, encryption, as well as setting up a network monitoring and response system…
